Trans…. More Than a Word

I am a woman….. Who happens to be trans….. I hold on to that label… Trans…… Those five letters in that exact order means something to me because for so long i didn’t know how to explain what I was feeling and now that I do, I’m not letting go of that that label. T R A N S….. I am T R A N S….. A woman who’s trans and proud and black and…….. Here in the moment…… I live for the moment….. I live to exist….. And I am me. I am her. I am now…. I am woman…. I am T R A N S……… And I live for myself.
