The Screenshot Project

Over the years since coming out, I’ve received a multitude of messages from men ranging from them wanting to use my body to experiment, questioning my identity, and being flat out rude to me because I’m a trans woman. On a much larger scale, this is only a small portion of what I deal with when it come transgender discrimination. The birthing of this idea grew out of me wanting to show cisgender people that to simply exist as who I am, is a protest against a society that wants to silence transgender people. This is me taking back my power. This is The Screenshot Project.
